Care & Support of Networking

I guess when I first joined a Networking Group, I thought it was all about how many referrals we could give and gain, all business, looking your best, marketing and selling. Although there are elements of that, what I hadn’t considered is how much care, support and genuine offers of help there would be for a new business like mine and for each other.

Last week I met three inspirational women for 1:1 meetings.  We all attend Business Network South Leicestershire and having 1:1 meetings with other business owners is positively encouraged.

Clare

Firstly I met Clare of www.purplestardesign.co.uk, we met at Attfields Farm Shop and managed to resist the cake…for a while!  Clare was very generous with her knowledge, eventually commandeering my notepad and scribbling a flow chart and some hints.

Debbie

Next it was Debbie of www.roundabouthinckley.co.uk  for coffee after our Network breakfast and oh my, she blew me away with her positivity, professionalism and belief in my business.  As we’d just eaten breakfast, we managed to avoid cake completely!

Louisa

Lastly it was Louisa of www.brightowlcopywriting.com  who had looked at my website and gave me invaluable advice on improving SEO and tweaks to the site itself.  The website, if not quite a labour of love, has been a labour so it was nice to hear some positive comments about it. We avoided cake but had lunch instead!

Ladies that Lunch!

All 3 ladies have worked hard to get where they are and meeting them made me feel empowered, inspired and enthused.

Care Stories

All 3 ladies also had their stories to tell of, either themselves or others they knew, trying to navigate the health and social care system, with little guidance and no idea who to turn to. They reinforced how vital the service that Family Care Advice is, especially when supporting people at an often difficult and confusing time.

In return for their time and care, I hope they have gained confidence in my skills and experience and should they ever find themselves or know of others that are lost in the care system, they will get in touch without hesitation.

Thank you

Thank you Clare, Debbie & Louisa for your care and support, it is very much appreciated.
